Direct Debit for monthly subs
On the Team or Club plan, parents can set up Direct Debit from their statement once, and each month’s subs are collected by themselves.
Last updated 5 October 2026
Direct Debit collects monthly subs by itself, so nobody has to remember. It’s on the Team and Club plans, and needs online payments turned on.
How parents set it up
- They open their child’s statement link and choose Pay subs by Direct Debit instead.
- They enter their bank details with Stripe.
- From then on, each month’s subs are collected on the due date.
Parents get an email from Stripe before each collection, and they’re covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
What it costs
Stripe takes 1% capped at £4 from each Direct Debit payment. There’s no Clubtab fee on paid plans.
When a payment fails
If a collection fails, the statement shows those subs as still due and you’ll see it in Clubtab. The parent can pay them another way.
Stopping it
Parents can cancel with their bank at any time. Subs then show as due on their statement until they pay another way.
